Family Reunion Visa is Suitable For:

reunification right only applies if the partner living
in Germany is a recognized refugee, or has possessed
a residence permit for 5 years, or the marriage already
existed at the point at which the third-country national
arrived in Germany and the duration of his/her residency
is expected to last more than 1 year
- Children over the age of 16 also have a right to join
their parents in Germany if they speak German or if
the authorities are sure that the child will be able
to integrate in Germany
Note: Children of people who have been
granted asylum have the right to join their parents
in Germany until the age of 18
